E-VPL service

E-VPL is a Layer 2 service providing secure and transparent carrier-to-multiple customer connections. A cost-effective alternative to traditional TDM access services, carriers have bandwidth options from 1Mbps to 20Mbps. The carrier’s customer maintains control over all traffic routing and switching, supporting non-IP data protocols like NetBEUI, IPX/SPX and AppleTalk.

E-VPL is a good choice for service providers needing an affordable, effective means of delivering voice, or other value-added IP services to a standalone business location. E-VPL is a collection of many point-to-point Ethernet virtual connections aggregated over a single carrier E-HUB connection.
