Direct Access is an on-net originating and terminating switched minute product that routes your customer’s long distance traffic over a dedicated connection to the Carrier bypassing the ILEC access tandem.

Customers who choose Direct Access directly connect with the TelePacific switch. The customer is responsible for providing its own facilities to the TelePacific switch or switches and will be charged a monthly recurring Switch Port charge. The Switch Port is only furnished on a DS1 basis.

Direct Access provides an alternative to the ILEC tandem routing option for carriers originating and terminating TelePacific on-net dial tone customers.
